The starting point for the work of Alied Holman is to give shape to man - in all his capacities. Her style is monumental and authentic. Due to the tight, balanced execution of lines, the sculptures have a powerful, sometimes mystical appearance. She deliberately shifts volumes, distorting the natural proportions so that the sculpture gains in tension. As a working method, she has chosen to first make the sculptures in clay before casting them in bronze. To express the authentic character as well as possible, the sculptures are touched up by herself and patinated with great care.
