  • About the artist

I entered the world in 1979 in China and spent my formative years there. My academic journey began at the Beijing Institute of Art & Design, where I honed my foundational skills. This path led me to the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in Beijing, where I earned a diploma in sculpture in 2005, followed by a Bachelor's degree from the sculpture department at CAFA.

Over the past two decades, my primary focus has been on sculpture, a field in which I have gained considerable recognition. My creations have been showcased in numerous galleries and museums, reflecting my dedication to this art form.

My artistic repertoire includes a variety of mediums like clay, acrylics, and bronze. Working alongside various master sculptors in their studios, I have developed a robust set of techniques and a deep understanding of artistic modeling across different materials.

In recent years, I've delved deeply into the realms of clay and bronze. I've embraced these fundamental and familiar mediums, striving to reinterpret my understanding of sculpture through contemporary visual experiences. My approach involves employing realistic methods to craft surreal scenarios.

These surreal creations are a response to the needs of contemporary cultural psychology. They represent my endeavor to merge modern cultural elements with traditional sculptural techniques, exploring new possibilities in the art of sculpture.
