- About the artist
Gennady Bernadsky is a Ukrainian painter, born on March 31, 1956 in Simferopol, located on the Crimean Peninsula. He was born into an artistic family; his father, Valentin Danilovich Bernadsky, was a recognized artist in both Russia and Ukraine.
Bernadsky studied at the Leningrad Institute of Fine Arts "I.E. Repin", from which he graduated with honors. After graduating, he moved to Paris, where he stayed for three years and exhibited his work at the Galerie Natalie Boldyreff at 136 Rue Saint-Honoré.
In his paintings, Bernadsky combines the southern, temperamental style of his Crimean background with the classical techniques of the Russian school. His work often includes vivid landscapes and still lifes, in which he finds a harmonious balance between color and composition.
Bernadsky's work is internationally recognized and is part of several private collections. His unique style and dedication to his craft have earned him a prominent place in the contemporary art world.
