    Lena Cornelia ten Bosch (1890–1945) was a Dutch painter whose work is rooted in the long and refined tradition of still life painting in the Netherlands. Working in the first half of the twentieth century, she developed a quiet, attentive practice centered on the depiction of everyday objects—flowers, tableware, and modest domestic arrangements—captured with restraint and sensitivity.

    Ten Bosch signed her works simply as “Lena ten Bosch,” a choice that reflects both clarity and a certain modesty, consistent with the intimate nature of her subjects.
