Siebrand Weitenberg is a Dutch contemporary artist who was born in Hillegom in 1960. Between 1980 and 1986 he studied at the Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in The Hague. Weitenberg creates graphic art, paintings, drawings, gouaches, watercolours and photographs. Important subjects in his work are love, hope, paradise and nature. His work is characterised by bold colours and inspired by romanticism. Weitenberg is also a teacher in his studio in The Hague. He has had various exhibitions in the Netherlands including, Pulchri Studio (The Hague) and WTC (Rotterdam). His work can be found in private and public collections.
