Anneke van Brussel (1949, Eindhoven) is a Dutch painter, aquarellist, engraver, and author of poems (in catalogues of her works). She studied at the Koninklijke Academie voor Kunst en Vormgeving (Royal Academy for Art and Design), Den Bosch (1967-1971), and the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten (Royal Academy of Fine Arts), Antwerp (1971). She uses mixed techniques (paper and panel). Her subjects are still lifes, animals, birds, cats, figures, portraits, yacht, shells, insects. She had numerous exhibitions since 1971. A few examples of the last years: Galerie Lieve Hemel (2013), PAN Amsterdam (2014), Kustcentrum Haarlem (2015).
