About the artwork

Bozena Dusseau Labedz is a Polish painter who graduated in 1984. She did this cum laude at The Academy Of Fine Arts in Poland, but has lived in the Netherlands since 1987. Her work is mainly characterized by everyday scenes and Polish customs. Love and suffering are often central here.
About the artist
Bozena Dusseau-Labedz (1960) was born in Poland and studied there at the Academy of fine art in Kraków. In 1987 she moved to the Netherlands.
Bozena tries to reproduce the essence, a piece of the soul, of the person portrayed by her. Where the power lies in the lines and color areas.
