Peter Reuterberg lives and works in Marstrand, a small island town in the Bohuslän archipelago on Sweden’s rugged west coast. Surrounded by sea, rock, and shifting light, he has spent his entire life drawing, painting, and sculpting—developing a visual language that feels both intimate and quietly monumental.
At the heart of Reuterberg’s work is the human figure in dialogue with nature. His sculptures and paintings depict moments of connection: bodies leaning into wind, figures pausing at the edge of water, gestures that suggest listening rather than speaking. These scenes are not narratives in the traditional sense, but distilled experiences—born from a balance between inward reflection and attentive observation of the world around him.
Best known for his bronze sculptures, Reuterberg captures the fleeting beauty of human interaction and the sense of wonder sparked by the natural environment.
