    Originele tekeningen van Lucien Hirtz, geïnspireerd op het werk van Lucien Levy Dhurmer, in potlood en pen. Deze tekeningen zijn studies voor een geëmailleerde jardinière die Hirtz maakte voor Frederic Boucheron (zie laatste afbeelding). De serie van drie tekeningen waren oorspronkelijk samen naast elkaar ingelijst. Nu zijn de drie tekeningen apart ingelijst.
  • A proposito di opere artista

    Lucien Hirtz è nato il 16 marzo 1864 a Nancy en Meurthe et Moselle, suo padre, David Jacques Aron Hirtz, era un commesso viaggiatore e poi un commerciante. Ha studiato alla National School of Decorative Arts, sua madre era Claire Estelle Hirtz nata nel 1839, morta nel 1901.
    All'età di 21 anni nel 1885, si unì a Falize come disegnatore, molti dei suoi disegni furono realizzati da Lucien Falize, ma è difficile trovare quali disegni nell'opera siano suoi. Morì il 31 marzo 1928 - a Parigi nel 17° arrondissement, all'età di 64 anni
