General Conditions Gallerease       

1. Introduction
By joining Gallerease as a gallery or art dealer, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which outline your rights and responsibilities in using the platform. Please read these conditions carefully before submitting your application.

2. Eligibility
To be eligible to join Gallerease, galleries and art dealers must meet the following criteria:

• Be a legally registered business or entity.
• Have a reputable and verifiable track record in the art market.
• Submit accurate and current information regarding the inventory, artists, and gallery.

3. Fees and Payments

• A membership fee or commission on sales will apply. The fees are set out in a separate fee schedule that is provided upon acceptance.
• If an applicant is interested in an artwork, Gallerease will provide the gallery or art dealer with the necessary information of the inquiry including the applicant's contactdetails by email, after which the art dealer can handle the sale, shipping and invoicing him or herselve.
• The gallery commits itselve to provide Gallerease with an honest feedback in case of a sales.
• Gallerease will send the participating gallery or art dealer an invoice after the final sale has taken place, according the agreed commission rates and payment cycles.

4. Inventory Listing

• Galleries and art dealers are responsible for uploading high-quality images and accurate descriptions of all works listed on the platform.
• Artworks must be authentic, and provenance information should be available upon request.
• Any sold or unavailable artworks should be removed or updated promptly to reflect the current availability of the work
• The gallery or art dealer aims to actively offer at least 15 works of art on its account

5. Intellectual Property

• By uploading images and descriptions to the platform, you grant Gallerease a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your artworks.
• You retain all ownership rights to your content, but you agree that Gallerease may use it for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes.

6. Responsibilities and Conduct

• All participating galleries and dealers must uphold the highest ethical standards, including fair pricing, transparency, and honesty in all dealings.
• You agree not to engage in any activity that could harm the reputation or operations of Gallerease, its users, or other dealers.
• Any disputes between galleries, dealers, or buyers must be resolved independently, though Gallerease may mediate if necessary.

7. Termination

• Either party may terminate the relationship with Gallerease at any time with 2 days’ written notice.
• Gallerease reserves the right to terminate your membership or access to the platform immediately for breach of these terms or misconduct
