- About the artist
Ben Snijders is a Dutch artist. He attended the Academy Minerva in Groningen, the Netherlands where he studied the Free Arts from 1961 - 1965.
Snijders started to learn painting from a tender age, with his uncle, landscape painter Albert Toie, as tutor. Snijders paints in a realistic style. His subjects range from still lifes to nudes.
Snijders is featured in many public and private collections including Drents Museum in Assen, the ING Collection and the collections of the municipalities Aa en Hunze and Noordenveld.
