  • About the artist

Noah Voûte (2009) started painting when he was 10 years old. He was influenced by various artists whose work he saw in his parents' art gallery. When he was 3 years old, he traveled with his parents and saw many art exhibitions in the Middle East, Spain, and France.

He loves abstract paintings, sometimes resembling landscapes and beaches. He draws inspiration from the clear skies and golden beaches of the island of Madeira and Ibiza, which he occasionally incorporates into his abstract paintings.

He enjoys abstract paintings because it gives him the most artistic freedom. His parents believe that it also teaches him to think outside the box.

The paintings are created by layering multiple materials on top of each other. This gives the artworks a certain depth. Noah likes to use acrylic paint because it dries quickly, but also also ink, powder, and epoxy to make the layers glossy. He also uses gold leaf, as the small pieces of gold leaf give the painting a certain strong and pure energy. Sometimes the gold leaf is not visible as it is hidden within one of the layers.

Recently, Noah has started painting larger artworks that give the viewer an even greater sense of being "inside" the energy reflected in the paintings. Noah plans to use a wider variety of materials and continue experimenting.
