Born in 1965 in Purmerend, he lives and works in Heerhugowaard, in the province of North Holland.
Patrick graduated from the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague, also winning the Winsor & Newton First Prize and Caran d’Ache Second Prize.
He has been exhibiting in the Netherlands and abroad ever since. Developing his unique style over the years, Patrick’s recent works are 3D versions of floating landscapes on old porcelain plates, which he calls landscape sculptures, often using the bonsai trees as structural basis for his dramatic, mysterious and playful tableaux.
Many of his artworks are part of prestigious private collections across Europe, South Korea and the USA.
