The characters in the works of Joan Artigas Planas slide dreams watch listen rest or cry but never fall from their pedestal. The "woman" is reproduced to infinity because for the artist she represents the infinite. The female characters in his sculptures represent priestesses or fantasy creatures placed in frozen moments with colors ranging from blue-green to red and now also white.
For the artist, the composition is not limited to bronze. Joan Artigas Planas situates his work in space. The sculptures of Joan Artigas Planas are a combination of figurative art and abstract art in which he mainly works with two materials, namely bronze and steel. The rusty look and feel give his sculptures a completely new aesthetic.
