    In 'Wideflung', Horne's expressive and wide brushstrokes, together with simple colours and thin layers, capture movement. The rush of the city, or constant flux of people in an airport have been inspiration for the artist.
    As Degas with his ballerinas, Kerry Horne places the viewer in the middle of the event, getting completely soaked in the moment. However, at the same time, the viewer is not in movement, is an observer of the "mess", as when taking a photograph or people watching in a cafe.

    La formazione di Kerry è stata multidisciplinare seguendo i principi educativi del Bauhaus (la formazione fondamentale è avvenuta in una scuola di design discendente direttamente dal Black Mountain College, iniziata quando il Bauhaus in Germania fu costretto a chiudere).

    Ha esercitato professionalmente in tutte e tre le discipline di Arte, Design e Architettura. Spesso come collegamento tra queste discipline.
    Ha vissuto e lavorato a Raleigh, Los Angeles, Londra, Berlino e attualmente ad Amsterdam.

    Progetti situati in queste località oltre a Parigi, New York, Riyadh e altri luoghi speciali.

    I suoi dipinti sono sparsi in tutto il mondo in varie collezioni aziendali e private.
