“One tries to read meaning out of sometimes apparently meaningless things. It is in this leap of association – this gap – where the artist constructs the work that the viewer struggles with. It is in this void where interpretations are fostered and new ideas are stumbled upon.” – Kerry Horne

Kerry’s education was multidisciplinary following the educational principles of the Bauhaus (the fundamental training was in a Design School directly descended from The Black Mountain College which began when the Bauhaus in Germany was forced to close). He has practiced professionally in all three disciplines of Art, Design, and Architecture. Often as the liaison between these disciplines. He has lived and worked in Raleigh, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, and currently in Amsterdam. Projects located in these locations in addition to Paris, New York, Riyadh, and other special places. His paintings are scattered throughout the world in various corporate and private collections.

La formazione di Kerry è stata multidisciplinare seguendo i principi educativi del Bauhaus (la formazione fondamentale è avvenuta in una scuola di design discendente direttamente dal Black Mountain College, iniziata quando il Bauhaus in Germania fu costretto a chiudere).
