    Arjan van Arendonk  ( 31-7-1957 ) vive e lavora a 's-Hertogenbosch.

    Una caratteristica sorprendente dei suoi dipinti è l'uso di materiali stampati come sfondo. Ciò si sposa perfettamente con la sua visione secondo cui l'arte è soprattutto "vicina". Un prodotto di uso quotidiano si trasforma in un'opera d'arte.

    Ciò che attira anche l'attenzione è l'uso molto specifico dei materiali. Negli ultimi anni, oltre ai colori acrilici, van Arendonk ha utilizzato anche silicone colorato nelle sue tele. Troviamo regolarmente anche ricami, prodotti digitalmente o meno.

    La natura è la grande maestra del suo lavoro.
