Height: 18,5 cm(7 1/3") - A proposito di opere artistaStefan Schwartz (1851-1924) è stato uno scultore e medaglia slovacco. Inizialmente lavorando in una fabbrica di metalli a Pest, si è trasferito a Vienna dove ha imparato a rincorrere, una tecnica di lavorazione dei metalli. Dal 1869 al 1874 studiò all'Accademia d'arte di Vienna, dove fu allievo di Otto König. Lì divenne insegnante d'arte nel 1876. Insieme a Rudolf Mayer, diresse la sua scuola nel 1875. Fu onorato con una medaglia d'oro all'Internationalen Kunstausstellung di Berlino nel 1896. Divenne famoso per il ritratto dell'imperatore, presente in Austria i soldi. Oggi la maggior parte delle sue opere è conservata al Museum für angewandte Kunst di Vienna.
