He was the father of Jean-Marie Strebelle (1916-1989), painter, Claude Strebelle (1917-2010), architect, and Olivier Strebelle (born 1927), sculptor.
He worked only one year for The glassworks Leerdam in Leerdam, where from 1915 on, glass in modern styles was produced.
