- A proposito di opere artistaPierre Alechinsky è un pittore belga Cobra nato a Bruxelles, che ha studiato all'Ecole Supérieure d'Architecture et des Arts Décoratifs di Bruxelles. Alechinsky combina diverse tecniche nel suo lavoro. Ad esempio, combina acquerello e disegno. Il suo lavoro si anima nella seconda metà degli anni Cinquanta. Ha anche applicato la sua vernice sempre più spessa sulla tela. Le sue tele erano ricoperte da masse di vernice nei toni del verde, blu, bianco e grigio. Alla fine degli anni Cinquanta, il suo lavoro raggiunse una maggiore libertà (sia nella forma che nel colore) e nelle sue opere apparvero creature favolose.
