23 cm. - A proposito di opere artistaMaurice Maignan (1868, Neufchâtel-en-Bray, Seine-Maritime, Francia -1946, Parigi) è stato uno scultore francese che ha lavorato in stile Art Nouveau. I materiali da lui utilizzati sono bronzo e marmo. Era un artista socialmente orientato, come è evidente dalla sua pubblicazione Économie esthétique; la question sociale sera résolue par l'esthétique (Parigi, Éditions de l'art décoratif, 1912). Le sue spoglie sono state sepolte nel colombario di Père-Lachaise a Parigi.
