Juul Neumann was a Dutch painter from Amsterdam. He was mostly autodidact and received weekly art lessons from Ger Gerrits, a local artist. The subjects of his paintings are landscapes and cityscapes. As he aged, his work got more abstract, influenced by Cubism, eventually resulting in a geometric style.
