Géza Nikelszky

Geza Nikelszky was a Hungarian artist who was born in Satu Mare on 28 July in 1877. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Budapest and graduated in Munich. From 1899 he was more than half a century the designer of the Zsolnay porcelain factory. His works were shown at the Art Gallery in 1938, the National Salon in 1944 and the Museum of Applied Arts in (1955). His work is included at the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest and Pécs. He died in Pécs on 11 October 1966.
