About the artist

An Italian artist and engraver, active in Rome around mid 19th century, his official title was Artiste Graveur.. With his workshop at Parco delle Quattro Fontane. Odelli produced sulphurets of gems and coins. He is known for these plaster intaglios. He presented them in wooden boxes, each box holding between 35 and 100 casts. He undersigned his works with his street address: Rue delle Quatro Fontane No. 11 e 12.
