  Willy Boers é um artista holandês que nasceu em Amsterdã em 1905 e morreu em Amsterdã em 1978. Ele se formou como restaurador, mas se tornou um pintor, desenhista e escultor autodidata. Willy também criou retratos, paisagens, paisagens urbanas, naturezas mortas e arte abstrata. Ele assinou seu trabalho com ‘WBoers’. Foi membro do Haagse Kunstkring até 1940 e entre 1929 e 1941 juntou-se à sociedade de arte De Onafhankelijken. Em 1946 fundou, junto com Ger Gerrits, o grupo Vrij Beelden que incluía os artistas Willem van Hussem, Piet Ouborg e Jan Roëde. Em 1950 fundou o grupo Creatie. Seu trabalho está incluído nas coleções do Rijksmuseum em Amsterdã e do Museu Cobra em Amstelveen.
