    Zhang painted this series to show the situation of the migrant workers coming from the countryside to work in the city. Most of the migrant workers live in container like dwellings with very few space and are dreaming of a better life. Sometimes trying to escape while thinking they are astronauts flying to the moon.
  • Over kunstenaar

    Zhang Zhaoying, geboren in 1988 in Guangzhou, studeerde in 2013 af aan de Sichuan Academie voor Schone Kunsten en was in 2013-2014 als gaststudent verbonden aan het Brussels Art Institute.
