- Sobre el artistaFioen Blaisse (1932, Amsterdam - 2012, Amsterdam), nombre completo Fioen Hetty Cornelia Blaisse-Kramer, fue una escultora, pintora, dibujante y medallista holandesa. De 1958 a 1961 estudió con el escultor Ben Guntenaar en la Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam. En 1970 viajó a Túnez, donde se inspiró en bailarinas y bailarinas. Desde entonces estos bailarines fueron un tema recurrente en su obra. En 1982, creó una escultura, De Voortschrijdende Danseres (La mujer bailarina a zancadas), para Maliebaan en Utrecht. También realizó abstracciones, animales, retratos, figuras y desnudos. En 1982, recibió el Premio de Cantante por toda su obra.
