Sobre el artista
Ferdinand Engelschalk (Praga 1680 - probablemente 1755 Friedberg) fue relojero y estuvo activo en Praga entre 1700-1713. Poco se sabe de él, pero en 1721 se convirtió en un maestro relojero. En 1731 se trasladó a Friedberg (Baviera, Alemania) y murió después de 1744. La mayoría de sus obras están expuestas en museos y colecciones privadas.
