Height: 14 cm - About the artistPaul Walther (1876-1933) was a German sculptor who was born in Meissen. After studying at the art academy in Dresden for a period of time, he began to work in a porcelain factory in Meissen in 1891. There, he created numerous objects of animals. He was one of the most productive modellers of the factory, producing over 195 objects, all made between 1904-1933. Paul Walther was also a member of the Dresdner Künstlergruppe in 1913.
