"I like the fact that not everything can be controlled. My head and hands only do the laborious preliminary work; but it is the gigantic power of the printing press on the receptive paper that determines the result within two minutes."
Conbulius' (1954) crafted matter prints are printed by him in Atelier Mas de Flors in Spain. He works exclusively on round paper that is made especially for him, in which he prints with heavy iron chains and glass beads.
