- About the artist
Wim Bosma was a Dutch painter, graphic designer, watercolorist and muralist. His work can be described as constructively expressionist. His main subjects were ports, train stations, landscapes, boats and figures. His most famous works date from the 1930's and realistically depict train stations and ports in the style of the New Objectivity. Another favoured subject of his paintings was the African woman. His art can be seen in the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
