About the artist
Richard de Vrijer is a Dutch drafstman and sculptor from Rotterdam. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam from 1970 until 1976 and at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam from 1976 until 1978. De Vrijer currently resides in Delft, where he focuses on teaching and creating bronze sculptures.
