Djojo Versteeg

Djojo & Versteeg consists of two Dutch artists who formed a duo during their time in art school and is located in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Rik Versteeg (Drunen, 1990) took his first photograph at the age of 12. He graduated as a fine arts photographer from the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam in 2013. Danny Djojosoedarmo (Dordrecht, 1993) is a self-taught make-up artist and stylist. Together, they create aesthetic and stylised photographs, based on cultural-historical themes. They are particularly inspired by myths, technology and gender.
